Review of the Show:
Despite the rainy night in Cincinnati, the energy at Bogart's was electric as indie artist Dayglow made his highly anticipated eighth tour stop to celebrate the release of his new album, “Dayglow.”
The evening kicked off with an impressive performance from the sensational band Sun Room, who set the perfect tone with some of their hits, making for a fantastic start to an unforgettable night.
As it turned nine, Dayglow took the stage, launching into his infectious track “Junior Varsity.” His setlist was a delightful mix, featuring songs from his debut album, “Fuzzy Brain,” which he released at just seventeen, alongside fresh tracks from “Dayglow.” The crowd was treated to other songs from his other albums like “Balcony,” “Medicine,” and “Like She Does.” A standout moment was his unique rendition of “Crying on the Dance Floor,” infused with a country twist that had everyone singing along.
The vibes were truly off the charts, with fans dancing and bobbing their heads throughout the night. Dayglow wrapped up his main set with two of his biggest hits, “Mindless Creatures” and “Can I Call You Tonight.” But the night didn’t end there—the audience erupted into chants for an encore, and Dayglow graciously returned to perform four more songs, leaving everyone wanting more.
Overall, it was an incredible night filled with joy and connection, proving that even a rainy night can’t stop Cincinnati from enjoying dayglow and its opener SunRoom.
