About ‘We Three’:
We Three is a band based in Portland, OR & they have toured around the US and Europe and opened for Andy Grammer in 2022. Since releasing their Debut Album, they have managed to get over 216+ million streams, 1.3 million followers on TikTok, and overall gathered 30 million likes, and hundreds of thousands of dedicated followers. They have been introduced on AGT back in 2019, and they have been on the BBC Sunday Brunch in London (as a performer). They have a unique approach to songwriting, which can be described as “an unusual ability to deliver highly relatable songs” that are about relatable things; such as, writing songs about mental health, love and insecurities. The front man of the band; Manny Humlie, often packages the subject matter inside the melodies with razor-sharp productions.
Review of the Show:
Tension was all you could feel in the air as soon as the house lights dimmed. Drummer & pianist, Joshua, then stepped onto the stage and his silhouette alone had the tension turning into anticipation. Bassist Bethany followed soon after, accompanied with a few flashing lights. A voice rang from the darkness and the crowd erupted into a roar. Frontman & guitarist Manny ran onto the stage and the whole venue shook as the audience’s anticipation morphed into excitement.
“Electrifying” is how I would describe We Three’s performance. The crowd was jumping, they were screaming the lyrics, they were in. the. moment. And playing a sold out show at The Basement East, you have to know that venue is FULL of people. Not single soul was still. Everyone was moving.
This show has been a long-awaited return to Nashville for the sibling trio. We Three hasn’t been in town since 2019, as a member of the audience had quickly pointed out. And it surely did not disappoint.
