About ‘Rubblebucket’:
Rubblebucket is an American art-pop and indie-rock band from Brooklyn, NY. The primary members are musical couple (now separated) Annakalmia Traver and Alex Toth. They originated in Somerville, MA and fall under the indie pop, neo-psychedelia, art-pop & alternative dance genres.
Review of the Show:
If you were to take anything away from Rubblebucket’s performance in Nashville, they know how to have a good time.
The stage was lit up with an insane range of colors, the atmosphere was fun, vibrant, and energetic, and the costume changes along the way was the cherry to top it all off. Cherry blossoms? Beautifully original.
It’s hard to find artists who possess great stage presence, crowd interaction, and memorable energy. Rubblebucket checks off all the boxes. There wasn’t a still person in the room as everyone was either singing, dancing, clapping, or nodding along to the music.
Everything about Rubblebucket’s performance gave off a psychedelic, funky vibe and instruments such as trumpets and even a baritone saxophone definitely aided in that.
Everyone who attended tonight would surely agree in saying they will not soon forget Rubblebucket’s Nashville show. I know I won’t.
