The 2024 edition of Breakaway Kansas City delivered an electrifying weekend of music, bringing together some of the biggest names in electronic dance music. Held at the spacious Azura Amphitheater, the two-day event was a spectacular blend of top-tier talent, vibrant visuals, and an energetic crowd that made for an unforgettable weekend.

Day 1: A Night of Euphoria

The festival kicked off on Friday at the Launchpad Stage with Bunt., the talented German DJ that has taken the industry by storm and is known for his hit songs "Clouds" and "Lost My Mind (Wake Up)." His set was a refreshing change of pace, blending acoustic elements with electronic beats. Bunt. set the perfect tone for the evening and weekend as a whole. His recent success has taken the industry by storm, with his unique "folk house" style earning him a rapidly growing fan base. Bunt. had the crowd singing and dancing, fully immersed in the vibrant, folk-infused electronic experience. Next up over on the Main Stage were Two Friends, the dynamic duo known for their feel-good remixes and high-energy sets. Headlining the night one was the legendary Tiesto, whose performance was nothing short of magical. Tracks like "Love Is Gone" and "Superhuman" resonated deeply with the Azura crowd, creating an unforgettable collective experience. The visuals accompanying their set, with dramatic pyrotechnics and synchronized light displays, enhanced the emotional intensity and left the crowd in awe.
